USAF, Retired

Last summer when I was vacationing in Ruidoso, I happened upon a quilt shop, go figure! While chatting with the owner, I said I do mostly "Memory Quilts". She suggested I leave my card because she gets asked occasionally about them and didn't have anyone to refer to. So I did. And lo and behold I was contacted by an Airman in the US Airforce, who has served 20 years and is retiring.

He literally sent me a duffel bag of his uniforms. Mostly BDU's, with one dress uniform. I'm really happy with how this turned out. I backed it with a fun USAF themed print, and made pillows from his dress uniform.

Truly a privilege to commemorate his service to our country.
