Shorthorns Forever!

30 years ago this past December, my family moved to Schulenburg, Texas. It was culture shock really, for a girl from East Texas and I won't tell you the adjustment was easy. But over those 30 years, this small town in South Central Texas turned me into a "South Texan" and this town is my adopted hometown.

One of the amazing things about this community is the pride and support it has for the local school district. I had wanted to do a school themed t-shirt quilt and decided this might just be the jump start to my quilting business, as well as lend some support to a local organization that supports the ENTIRE school district.

This black and orange beauty is being raffled by the Shorthorns Forever Association through the first weekend in August 2018, when a winner will be drawn on Sunday afternoon of the Schulenburg Festival. For more information, or to purchase a ticket, please contact me or any member of the association. The first event is scheduled for February 4th at Sengelmann's for their Super Bowl Party. GO HORNS!
